If you are planning a visit to a Renaissance Fair, it's important to know the hours of operation. While it's true that most fairs are open for several hours each day, the hours that a Renaissance Fair stays open for are often much different than that of a traditional theme park. Listed below are the hours of operation for some of the largest Renaissance festivals in the country.

During the Faire, gates are open from 10:00 AM to 6 PM on weekends. Admission costs $30 for adults and includes all entertainment. Special events are also offered, such as pirate weekend and steampunk weekend. Admission price

A Renaissance fair admission price includes the price of admission to the fair and is subject to change. In addition, each Renaissance fair has its own unique set of activities and attractions. For example, dining like a king or drinking tea with the Queen are among the events available to attendees. There is also a children's play area and juggling school, as well as special events and demonstrations throughout the festival.

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is rain or shine. To purchase tickets online, visit the fair's Virtual Box Office, which is open 24 hours a day. You can then print or scan your ticket from home. You can also purchase your tickets using your mobile device. If you'd rather bring your own printed tickets, you can purchase them from the Faire website.

If you'd like to avoid paying full admission prices, you can purchase discount tickets or coupons. You can also purchase group tickets at discounted rates. Make sure to check if the Renaissance festival offers group discounts before buying a ticket. These special discounts don't include convenience fees. In addition, you can save more money by purchasing a season pass, which gives you special perks and access to the festival year-round.

Requirements for entry

The Golondrinas Renaissance Fair is the premier Renaissance fair in New Mexico, and offers the chance to see fairies, knights of Epona, medieval music, and unique arts and crafts. As the oldest annual fair in New Mexico, the Golondrinas Renaissance Fair is open to the public, but please note that entry is not allowed if you are under the age of 21. Also, you must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol while on the grounds.

For your own safety, you cannot bring weapons to the Fair. However, decorative weapons are permitted as long as they are sheathed and not stage combat grade. Also, arrows can be carried as costume adornment, but they must be peace-tied together and the tips removed.

Renaissance Fairs don't allow modern devices such as cell phones or air conditioning. Their aim is to recreate the ambiance of the Renaissance Period. This means that the Fairs usually end at sunset, and at 8pm during the summer. You should plan your trip well in advance, especially if you are buying specialty goods.

There is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can cause serious illness and death. The ticket includes all the entertainment, including jousts, parades and the continuous show of hundreds of artists in street and theatrical performances.

There are interactive living history exhibits, craft demonstrations and activities for children. The New York Renaissance Fair has designated smoking areas. These areas are indicated on the printed map that you can pick up in the information booth. Areas are close to the Main Gate on Sir Arthur Avenue, between Maypole and Robin Hood Bridge, and close to The Rusty Knife Pub.

Smoking, including vaporizers, is only allowed in these locations. Please do not request to bring your service dog that is “in training”. With the best of intentions, a service dog in training is just that, in training. You risk a detrimental breakthrough and possible development of anxiety by having a dog in a very dusty and busy environment competing with thousands of feet moving right next to it.

Wait until they are fully vetted to provide the service that will help you. A Renaissance fair is a recreation of a 16th century village, like an english village or any european village,  full of artists, crafts, games and hot food that gives guests the illusion of going back in time of those england style village streets just like in Queen Elizabeth era. The New York Renaissance Fair presents more than 125 performances on 20 stages and more than 100 artisans, all on 65 acres of beautiful forest. The fair is open, rain or shine.

Yes, but you must receive a hand stamp when leaving and show it to the front door staff to re-enter the Fair. Many of our guests come dressed up, and we think the whole experience is greater and more fun when you come dressed to play.

Due to an unfortunate number of people who have brought instruments and tried to play on our streets, you cannot bring any instruments. Most areas of the Fair are accessible.

A large percentage of the Fair has paved roads, and the rest compacted hard gravel. We also have wheelchair-accessible portable restrooms. A limited number of wheelchairs are available to borrow at the main office. Unfortunately, we don't have any chairs or motorized scooters at this time.
